Engaging early in subject study does not necessarily guarantee good marks, but it does usually provide a good indicator for study success. This 45 minute practical session will take you through the Site Analytics reports within Interact2 that help you gain some insight into students’ early online engagement and progress, and what actions you can take to encourage study consistency. Shared Presenters: ALTS, Learning Technologies unit.

24 July 2019, Forty-Five Minute Zone: Census date but not too late. 1pm, Faculty of Arts and Education. Faculty of Science.
Census Date seems to come all too quickly, and it’s easy for students to fall behind their studies before they realise it. At this point, you may be wondering which students have never properly engaged with subject learning. In this 45 minute session you will be guided on how to use Retention Centre to identify unengaged/disengaged students and then to send them a personalised notification to ‘nudge’ them forward. Shared Presenters: ALTS team, Learning Technologies unit.
25 July 2019, Forty-Five Minute Zone: Census date but not too late. 1pm, Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences.
