On Friday May 14 we will be making a concert recording during the school day similar to the one we made for the holiday concert. Each choir will record during their regularly scheduled period (with the exception of the 7th graders joining the 8th).

Middle School students should wear their polo on top and black on bottom

High school students should dress nicely. No jeans, no holes.

All students who will be involved in the high school choir in 2021-2022 are eligible to participate in the Disney Performing Arts trip happening in March 2022. All of those students have been added to a Google Classroom and all of the registration information and itinerary are available there. Parents should have also received an email with that information as well as a paper copy sent home with students. If you have any questions please email me or call my office.

Thank you to all who participated in the mattress fundraiser either by giving referrals or by coming on the day of to advertise the event. I believe the final count was 24 mattresses and 3 adjustable bases and we should get an official recap in the next week.

The Music Boosters are retiring both our president, Megan Sargent, and our treasurer, Helen Stupka. These ladies have done a wonderful job over the past few years keeping things going and moving and growing. With them stepping down we now have two holes to fill. We need some parents to volunteer for these positions. Without the Boosters we wouldn't have accompanists, master classes, uniforms, support with purchasing new instruments, financial support for trips and so much more. Meetings are once a month on the third Tuesday. The next one is May 18 at 6:30 where we need to have officer elections and get things finalized for this year. If you have any questions or want to know more please reach out to me, Mr. Dettmar, or one of the boosters. PLEASE consider stepping up into something new!

On May 18 we will recognize the accomplishments of all of the high school choir members during class, especially our seniors. We will do the "passing of the mic" ceremony in class. During HS lunch that day Mr. Dettmar, the Boosters, and I will be hosting a special lunch on the lawn just for the seniors.
