Town Center Parent Book Study

We are excited about our upcoming Town Center Parent Book Study! All of our meetings will be via Zoom. The book, The Whole-Brain Child: 12 Revolutionary Strategies to Nurture Your Child's Developing Mind, will be provided for you at no cost, along with an accompanying journal. They will be yours to keep!

If you are not available for each date below, do not worry! We will have an online option for the meeting dates that you are not able to join us. This will allow you to keep up with our book study and still be a part of the discussion. We are excited about the opportunity to bring TCE parents together for a time of learning, not only from the book but also from each other.

**Registration is open through Friday, February 11th. At that time we will send all registrants a welcome letter with additional information about materials. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Valentine's Day Parties

Our classes will have their Valentine's Day parties on Monday, February 14th. Similar to our winter parties, each class will be able to have two room parent volunteers attend. Additional visitors will not be allowed during the party activities. Your child will be able to pass out valentines this year if they would like to.

*All party refreshments will be cleared by our school nurse. Please be mindful that your child may receive additional treats/candy from classroom peers attached to their valentines that are passed out. Please make sure to check these items when your child gets home if they have any potential allergies or food restrictions.

Kids Heart Challenge - American Heart Association

Our Kids Heart Challenge (formally known as Jump Rope for Heart) kicks off on February 1st. Over the next month, learners will learn more about keeping their heart and brain healthy, while also having the opportunity to raise money for the American Heart Association. Download the Kids Heart Challenge App or go to www.heart.org/khc and register today if you'd like to join in.

Reminder: New Positive COVID-19 Case Reporting Procedure

A big thank you to our families for communicating positive student Covid cases to us. In order to help streamline the communication process for both families and our campus nurse, please fill out the following Google Form if your child receives a positive Covid-19 test. Once our nurse has received the form from a family, she will reach out to them during school hours to discuss a return date to school and any questions they may have.
