Patriot Nation,

We had a great week welcoming back some of our @home learners to our campus! Just a reminder that we will be closed on Monday October 5th for professional development. Next week is a busy week as well as we will have our Virtual Open House on October 7th. Our educators have completed beginning of the year data and will be setting up parent conferences to discuss goal setting and progress.

Thank you all for your support and all you do to make each one of our educators at Jack feel special! Have a great 3-day weekend and Sharpen that Saw!

In an effort to assure that all of our Patriots have access to Chromebooks, we must have the TISD technology agreement signed by our families. If you have not had a chance to do this, the form can be found in the link below:

We have Patriots that have returned to campus this six weeks and wanted to send out a reminder about our dismissal procedures. Please know that we no longer have walk up dismissal. You have the option of using our carline, or your child can be a walker. Please let you teacher know how your Patriot will be getting home each day. If something changes for an emergency, please let our front office know and we can inform our teachers.

We have some exciting news for all of our Patriot community! This year, Dr. Bryan C. Jack Elementary qualifies as a Title I campus. What does this actually mean for our students, staff, and families? Please click on the link below to learn more. This information will be shared again in our presentations for our 1st Annual Virtual Open House event on October 7th. We are thankful for this great opportunity to provide great educational resources for our learners and educators!

This event is designed so that you can get updates on curriculum, grade level expectations, and more. The event will be held October 7th. Due to Covid-19 and safety, we will be conducting this engagement activity in a virtual format. Presentations will be released on October 7th, and our educators will be setting up conferences as well to share information with our families!

If your Patriot is currently an @Home learner, you can view your child's report card through the Parent Portal. If you need a hard copy, you may request one from you teacher for pick up. The document can be left in the front office for scheduled pickup during school hours. Thank you for understanding!

The 30th Annual TISD Pantry Raid is in full swing! Normally we would we would be collecting cans to be donated to Tyler Legacy to benefit the East Texas Food Bank. This year due to Covid-19 restrictions, please visit the website below to see how you may be able to still give!
