A Note From Principal Jeff Brandt
I would like to welcome everyone back to another school year! We are excited to have students and staff back in the building. It has been an excellent first few days of school.
While there are many things that are the same, there are a few differences. We have tried to make our schedule more consistent with our A/B days, also giving our teachers an opportunity to see all of their students on Wednesdays. The North Dakota Department of Transportation completed a project at the edges of the DHS parking lot. And last, but certainly not least, we have several new staff members within our building.
I want to thank you for your continuous support of Dickinson High School, our students, and our staff. Our staff is focused on creating a positive, safe, and supportive environment in which your students can be successful.
Jeff Brandt
Principal, Dickinson High School

Choice Ready ensures that the students are DHS graduate with the “knowledge, skills, and disposition to be successful.”
The academy also kicked off this year’s Star Student of the Month program by selecting Jenna Decker and Irelynn Kuntz as the HHS Star Students for August. Both young women were recongnized for their outstanding effort and enthusiasm in their work in and out of the classroom.
In addition to updating the HHS Pathways on the DHS website, the academy has begun preliminary planning for their role in the student celebration breakfast and the career expo. Both activities will take place at the end of the first semester.
