FAST (Faculty and Students Together)
This past Friday, we were pleased to be able to bring another annual Nipmuc tradition back for the students. After a two-year hiatus, F.A.S.T (Faculty and Students Together) returned to Nipmuc. The students were able to come together with their classes, have some fun in different competitions, and show their pride in a pep rally. Despite the rainy weather, the students' spirits were strong and a fun day was had by all!
Computer Science Showcase
The computer science students are excited to welcome the school community to Nipmuc's Computer Science Showcase on Tuesday, May 24, from 8am - 10am in Nipmuc's Media Center. The showcase will feature student-created apps on MIT's App Inventor program as well as independent study work by computer science students. A group of students has also been working on the CubeSAT challenge through MIT's Lincoln Laboratories. These students will provide a demonstration of their work. ***In order to maximize the experience, please download MIT App Inventor's app on your iPads/cellphones in order to access and test student-created apps***.
