Protect Yourself from Phishing Scams

Despite the large number of phishing emails that are being caught and blocked by our Technology Department, we are still seeing a few phishing scam emails get to district email inboxes.

Microsoft and Outlook DO NOT send emails warning our users about accounts being terminated or emails being deleted. NEVER click links or attachments in suspicious emails.

It is up to each one of us to protect our own logins, passwords, and other personal information.

Digital Spring Cleaning Tip #1: Teacher Laptops

It's that time of year ... longer days, gorgeous fields of bluebonnets, and Spring Cleaning projects. In addition to closets, kitchen cabinets, and junk drawers, you should also take the time to do some DIGITAL SPRING CLEANING! We'll focus on different topics over the next few weeks.

Tip #1 | Teacher Laptops

If you received your district laptop during the 2014-15 school year, you're nearing the end of the district lease and you will be getting a new laptop for the next school year. You will be contacted soon by your Campus Repair Technician with information about the check-in/check-out process.

In the meantime, this is a good time to start looking through the files you have saved directly to your laptop. We all know how crazy things get at the end of a school year, so don't wait until the last minute to save your files to a safe location. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND using OneDrive for Business (ODFB), the cloud storage solution that is included with your Office 365 account.
