This tutorial will provide step-by-step instructions to access ebooks in NCWiseOwl.

The State of North Carolina provides a valuable resource for all students---NCWiseOwl.


This database can be accessed by simply typing ncwiseowl into any search engine. Click on NCWiseOwl to open the database. You will be prompted to provide a password for NCWiseOwl. Contact your teacher or school library media specialist for this password - they can email you the password.


This tutorial explains how to search for books for research support, but there are also over 1,000 books for self-selected / pleasure reading!


When you access the site, you will be at the NCWiseOwl landing page with blue boxes.
