West Recognized on AP Honor Roll

Wauwatosa West is proud to have been recognized by the College Board at the Silver Level on the Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll. This designation is given through a a combination of factors that include:

  • College Culture--40% or more of the graduating cohort took at least 1 AP Exam
  • College Credit--25% or more of the graduating cohort scored a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam during high school
  • College Optimization--2% took five or more exams with at least one of those taken during the 9th or 10th grade to spread the achievement across multiple years.

Last year West had 348 students take 687 AP Exams.

Wauwatosa West and East are proud to offer a wide range of Advanced Placement courses across many subject areas. Success in these courses has been an area we have seen consistent improvement over the past several years. It is exciting to earn this recognition. This Fall we have had more students register for AP exams than ever before so we expect this positive trend to continue.

Students are choosing rigor and we are incredibly proud of their success.

Winter Sports Event Expectations

This is a reminder of the expectations for all students planning to attend athletic games at West in the upcoming season. After school: If you are attending or participating in an event you must exit the building after school. Students will not be allowed to loiter in the building until game time. Students who do not follow this protocol will be asked to leave the school grounds Tickets: All Tickets are Cashless, and can be purchased on our website or by CLICKING HERE! Everyone needs a ticket unless they are on the VARSITY roster for that specific game. **There will be no entry after halftime of the varsity game, doors will be locked and entry to the game is closed!** If a student at any co- curricular event meets any of the following criteria they will be denied entrance or asked to leave the event:

  • Is in possession of any banned substances
  • Suspected, based on observation, to be under the influence
  • Is found to be in a single bathroom stall with other students
  • Is loitering closely with a group of students when banned substances (vape, smoking, alcohol, etc.) are being used
Backpacks are not allowed. If students leave the game they will not be allowed to re-enter. Fans are to be in the stands when not visiting concessions or restrooms.

All spectators must leave within 20 minutes of the end of the game

By coming to an event you agree to follow appropriate spectator expectations, outlined in the student handbook

These expectations are in place to maximize the enjoyment for all of our fans. We are excited for the events ahead. Go Trojans!

Tosa West Theatre represented the entire state of Wisconsin in NYC live on Good Morning America! Check out the segment here: Tosa West Theatre - Good Morning America

Tosa West freshman, Evan Hryniewicki, was part of this special performance, which featured students from across the nation celebrating 10 years of Frozen. He appeared in-studio, singing let it go.

We continue to be grateful to be a part of The United States of Frozen and look forward to the next production.

End of Day Safety

This is a reminder that students must leave the building at the end of the school day. Students that are not supervised in an activity will be asked to leave the building. In the interest of student safety please be sure that your child has a ride from school at the end of the day. Students from other schools will not be allowed to enter the building after school. This includes siblings from Eisenhower and Whitman. Thank you.
