GMS Falcon Update

An additional school fees PRC Plan has been approved by the state. The Champaign County Department of Job & Family Services can help cover up to $500 per child if families are income eligible and complete a PRC application. Attached is the letter JFS has composed, and a social media infographic. Please contact them directly with questions. We do have access to the PRC Application in our GMS office as well that we are happy to send home.

Quarter 4 Interim Report Cards will be headed home with students on Wednesday, May 3rd.

Also coming home that date with every student will be information about the Falcon 5K which is a building fundraising event, as well as Book Fair information.

We ask that we ensure students are here on time, eat breakfast. Remind them that all we can ever expect is that students give their best effort, that's all that is within their control !

This Friday, payment #4 is due. Student accounts are expected to be at $700 for their hotel room request to be honored. If you are having difficulty making payment, please contact Mr. Wagner via email. WagnerM@grahamlocalschools.org

Reminder: Information for incoming grade 7 students:

Ohio Law requires that all seventh graders must have received multiple immunizations. Before starting school, students in the 7th grade must have a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) and a Meningococcal vaccine. Written proof of receiving these vaccinations must be on file in the school office. Students who do not have evidence of proper immunizations will be excluded from school after 14 days, per Ohio Revised Code.
If your doctor says immunization might be harmful to your student, a waiver must be on file. If you object to immunization for good cause, for example religious convictions, a waiver must be on file.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be back at GMS May 8th-11th. Students will have access to the fair throughout the day.
