Here's a volunteer opportunity that can be done right from your couch if you want! The PTA would love to stock the break room for our amazing teachers & staff over the coming months.

Please see the flyer below for snack suggestions provided by the staff. PTA members were at drop off on Friday, September 1st to collect donations , but donations can be brought to the office at any time.

So please take a look & see if there's an item you can add to your grocery list this week!

Teacher Appreciation

In order to ensure that our Bears are settled into their routines and have familiarized themselves with our lunch procedures, we will not have lunch visitors for the first few weeks. Beginning September 5, 2023, you are more than welcome to have lunch on campus with your Bear on the following days:

• Any Day of the Week: Student Birthday/Half Birthday

• Tuesdays: Kindergarten and 4th Grades

• Wednesdays: 1st and 3rd Grades

• Thursdays: 2nd and 5th Grades

All visitors must check-in to the front office upon arrival, have your driver’s license scanned, and wear your Visitor’s Badge while on campus. Lunch visitors will be directed to sit at the designated visitor table with their student. This is a special time for you and your student. Other students will not be permitted to join you for lunch.

Eating outside utilizing the picnic tables is an option every day. Simply check your child out of school and back in on these days. For birthdays before September 5, you can always check your child out for their special day lunch. Birthday treats are absolutely welcome. We just ask that you arrange that with your child's teacher. Everybody Counts will be the week of September 11-15, and is a national disability awareness program designed to teach students about various disabilities and how children with these challenges cope with them. The goal is to build understanding, inclusion, and ease with one another’s differences. During their Library Specials each grade level will be taught a lesson to bring about a greater understanding. The BBE Admin Team is inviting you to our first Coffee at the Bearista Cafe. This is an opportunity for us to share information related to our school. Our first topic is safety. We hope to see you there!

BBE Family, please join us at Turner Stadium on Wednesday, September 13th for Humble ISD's Annual Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk. We encourage you to wear a green or BBE t-shirt when you come out to support this important event. We hope to see you there.
