Thank You, Veterans!
This morning we had members from the UCO Color Guard present the colors during Charge Up. We also had students from different grade levels dressed up in patriotic colors, sang some patriotic-themed songs, and recognized veterans for Veteran's Day. On Monday of this week, our students were able to watch a fire prevention safety skit presented by the Edmond Fire Department in conjunction with Fire Safety Prevention Month. Some of the items discussed during this presentation were making sure there is a working fire alarm in the house, and that families have an evacuation plan including exit paths from the house and a safe place to meet up once everyone has evacuated the house. We would like to thank our fire department for sharing these important reminders during this presentation.

The order link for the 2023-24 Chisholm Yearbook is also included in this newsletter. The order deadline for purchasing a yearbook won't occur until February or March, but you can take care of this item at this time.
If you would like to pre-order pizza for Turkey Bingo on November 16, the deadline to place that order is tonight at midnight. Drinks and individually wrapped desserts will be available for purchase during the event. This is a canned food drive for a local food pantry, so we will be collecting a canned food item in return for a bingo-playing card.
The Smart Social link below which was first presented in last week's newsletter will feature different tips and information on social media apps. This tool provided to families during this school year will hopefully provide information on managing student access to social media platforms.

Edmond North Basketball Camp - Information on an upcoming basketball camp scheduled for Friday, November 24 from 10:00 to 1:00 for boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade.
Chisholm Spirit Wear - Now is the time to order Chisholm Spirit Wear, which includes t-shirts, long sleeves, and a hat. Orders need to be placed by Sunday, November 19, 2023 (11:59 PM CST). There is a link below and some pictures of items that are being offered.
