Dear ALMS Families,
Please remember that we have a short week this week. Tomorrow and Friday there will be NO SCHOOL in observance of Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Day.
Despite being a short week we had plenty going on! We had our final breakfast of the year for the Rockwell students, parents, and staff! We would like to especially thank our parent volunteers for setting up such a lovely breakfast for everyone! We very much appreciate it!
We also have some excellent artwork from our students who participated in the Lions Club Peace Poster Art Contest! Please see below for some of the amazing entries from this year!
The Student Council is holding a movie night for the 7th grade on December 6th starting at 5:30pm. See our student created flyer below. Thank you, Lauren DeFabbia for creating such a fantastic poster!
Also, our 6th Grade Advisors, Mr. Bochicchio and Ms. Hudson, sent an email out to all 6th graders about their upcoming 6th grade movie night coming on December 11th, right after school, from about 3:30pm-5:00pm. Please have your child check their email to cast a vote!
Next, there will be a presentation at New Rochelle High School about the "Consequences of Vaping" on November 29th at 7pm. Please see the flyer (in English and Spanish) below.
Finally, our media club was able to put together another Teacher Feature prior to the end of this short week. Please take a look at Mr. Kaplan's Teacher Feature down below!
