Changed hybrid learning start dates
- Feb. 22: Grade 6
- March 1: Grades 7-8
Start dates shared earlier in this week were pushed back due to both human and technical errors in the survey. Read about the reason for the change.
High school students could begin hybrid learning when cases drop below 200 per 100,000 people.
NEW: COVID data dashboard
Information on COVID-19 cases connected to VPS is now available in a new data dashboard. This dashboard provides staff, families and the public with case numbers that are not readily available from other sources.
Email notification about a positive case is sent to the staff and families of the affected location usually within 24 hours of the case being reported to the district's COVID response team. The new dashboard does not replace these notifications. It is intended to provide a more comprehensive picture of COVID cases around the district.
Clark County Public Health previously reported all school-related cases on its dashboard, but now reports only school outbreaks.
