Research w/Databases
Getting started....
Where do I go first?
Go to http://thewhslibrary.edublogs.org/databases to see all the databases WHS has!
What about the Gale databases?
GALE's databases are excellent for issues research. Pick the database you want to use from their list, or search "all". Read the descriptions for clues on which one works for you.
How do I find the Gale app?
The Gale app is called Access My School Library and can be found in the iTunes store at this link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/accessmylibrary-school-edition/id371676736?mt=8
Setting up the app
Gale will ask you to pick the state and city you live in, and then what school you attend. Then the password needs to go in! (ask your teacher)
What about the Ebsco databases?
Ebsco includes newspapers, magazines, books and more. To get started, click on Ebsco. Pick EBSCOhost and then choose "MAS Ultra" and "Newspapers" or any other databases you need OR you can pick Student Resource Center!
What about the EBSCO app?
Scroll to the bottom of the Ebsco Host page and click on the button for iPad and iPhone app.
What now?
Ebsco will email you a link and a passcode number to install the app.
What about my bibliography?
