April 2023
Superintendent's Message
What a fantastic year it’s been for our students, staff, and families! We’ve seen our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments. Our teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to create engaging and rigorous learning experiences for our students, and their hard work has paid off.
We have also been fortunate to have our families' ongoing support throughout the year. Your involvement in your child's education has been invaluable, and we appreciate your commitment to our school community. Please continue to stay engaged and provide feedback so we can learn, grow, and move forward together.
As we look ahead to next month, I am excited to present our newly developed strategic plan to our school board on Thursday, May 18. The plan is critical for providing direction, aligning goals, allocating resources, and promoting continuous improvement throughout the District. Guided by input from parents, staff, students, and the community, it includes a Portrait of a Graduate, mission and vision statements, core values, strategic priorities, and objectives. Thanks to the many individuals who participated in and supported the development of this strategic framework. It’s an exciting time to be part of District 140!
Respectfully,
Dr. Dan Callaghan
Superintendent
