The Lion Line
Orange Park Campus | Volume 1 Issue 2 - September 2023
A Letter from the Headmaster
Dear Parents,
Thank you for such a wonderful start to the school year and our adventure together. Orientation was a great opportunity for our families to walk the campus and see, not just classrooms but their scholars' teachers for the first time. The Kindergarten Boo-Hoo breakfast was a delight, as these new Lions started their educational journey with one last hug from their parents. Seeing our scholars walking campus in uniform puts into perspective the mission of SJCA-OP, to build intelligent, virtuous American citizens.
Please continue to work with us as we develop and improve processes on campus from lunch to carline. In carline, please look for directions from our staff. I ask that you take a look at our Family and Student handbook where student dress code and other pertinent topics are addressed. Be on the lookout for information on upcoming events from Constitution Day to Skate Night at Skate Station.
We look forward to an exciting year of learning and establishing the footprints of how our future will look at SJCA-OP.
Go Lions!
Anthony (Tony) Bradley
Headmaster

3rd-5th Grade Choir
SJCA - OP Campus is beginning an after-school choir that will meet once a week. This opportunity is offered to scholars in grades 3rd – 5th.
Scholars interested in joining should know they can expect a welcoming, exciting, and enjoyable learning environment that fosters personal and musical growth- regardless of musical ability- through singing, dancing, and public speaking. Song selections represent a wide range of genres, style periods, and cultures, and may include foreign languages. Repertoire supports the SJCA curriculum while also offering scholars a chance to challenge themselves and explore beyond what is covered in their music classes.

From the Lions Council
Letter from the Lions Council Chair
Lion family,
THANK YOU!
The wave of yellow shirts on campuses for the August Spirit Day was inspiring. Our entire school community came together as one, both Fleming Island and Orange Park campuses, to support our fellow scholar and her family.
By purchasing the "Chloe is Courageously Conquering Cardio" T-shirts, you supported. By participating in Spirit Day, you supported. And by donating to the family, you supported.
In total, St. Johns Classical Academy families raised $1,325.24 to support the Morton family during this unimaginable time. We will give a check to the Morton family to use as they see fit.
Thank you for supporting a member of our Lion Family!
Nicole Chapman.
Chair, Lions Council
