While the sun is still shining brightly & snow boots are still buried in closets, we know that the cold temperature and snow is fast approaching!

Please keep in mind when the temperature is 30 degrees and above the children will continue to line up outside as well as go out for recess. It is important that they are adequately prepared for the cold temperatures. Please be sure to dress your children appropriately for the weather.

PreK and PATS families are invited to our annual Multicultural Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 18th from 2:00pm-3:00pm in the cafeteria. Please bring a traditional dish to share.

Please visit the lost & found located in the cafeteria to see if anything looks familiar. Over Thanksgiving Break we will be donating all of the remaining items.

The safety of your children is always our top priority at Kennedy School. It is important to review information that both children and parents need to be aware of to ensure the safety of all students during arrival & dismissal.

*The driveway located on the South side of the building is for student drop-off and pick-up only! There is NO parking in the South lot during arrival. Please take advantage of the drop-off circle by remaining inside your vehicle while your child unloads in the circle drive. After your child exits the vehicle, please wait until the car in front of you moves before exiting the drive-through-lane. Please do not pass cars in front of you, as this is a major safety concern and there is only 1 lane to exit the parking lot.

There have been an increased number of tardy students at Kennedy School. Morning routines are always more difficult when it is cold outside. Please allow yourself extra time to get to school. Students are to arrive between 7:40am-7:55am. You will see this blue sign during times when adult supervision is provided by school staff.

If you arrive after 7:55am in the drop-off circle and see this red sign, you must check your child in through the main office, as they will require a tardy slip. Please do not drop your child/children off if there are no adults outside, as the exterior doors of the school are locked.

November 19: PreK/PATS Thanksgiving Feast (2-3pm)

November 20th: Spirit Assembly

November 23-27: NO SCHOOL/Thanksgiving Holiday

November 30th: Classes Resume
