News and Notes from the Principal

The year has nearly come to an end and we are all grateful to have been able to provide students with the best of opportunities during the strangest of times! This weekend we turn our focus to our graduating class of 2021 followed by underclassmen (Half-Day) Exams on Monday and Tuesday of next week! We look forward to finishing even stronger than we started! After all, we are #BetterTogether!

Moving?

Are you moving over the summer? If so please take a quick moment to complete the following survey so we can update our records: Moving? Click Here

All parental notes must be submitted within 48 hours of the students returning to school. Notes will be signed and dated explaining the reason for the absence, the date(s) of the absence (s), and a daytime phone number. Bryan County Schools Attendance committee will review any notes submitted after the 48 hour deadline to determine whether the excuse is accepted at that time.

As it relates to attendance and expectations regarding the check out process, please exercise the following should your child need to leave early! The process is as follows: send in a note, student drops it by attendance office in the morning, be sure to include a good contact number for verification, student will be given a class dismissal note, and sign themselves out

Health & Safety Reminders:

  • If your child is unable to attend school due to COVID-related symptoms or an exposure to someone with COVID,please be sure to contact the school to speak with the nurse: (tparker@bryan.k12.ga.us or dfoster@bryan.k12.ga.us) - All attendance related notes should be submitted to Ms. Carolyn Oetjen via email at (coetjen@bryan.k12.ga.us)
  • If your student is not feeling well, please do NOT send them to school. With concurrent learning they have the opportunity to take advantage of the curriculum even when not present - they can log into their google meets.

Upcoming Important Dates:

  • Graduation: 5/22
  • Last Day of School: 5/25
