Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We had a short week this week after the Thanksgiving weekend. Our first hot lunch of the school year was on Thursday which was amazing! Thank you to the incredible hot lunch helpers that came in and cooked food for us! Students have been participating in fire prevention week where they have learned different safety tips about fire prevention. The Yellowhead County Fire Department is having their annual coloring contest for our students to participate in. Winners will be announced later this month.
Friday, October 20th, is a non-instructional day so there is no school for our students but our teachers will be hard at work learning about data and supports for students. October 16th to the 20th is bus safety week. Students will be participating in a bus evacuation drill on Thursday. This week is our final week of the book fair. Be sure to check it out before it's gone!
Have a wonderful week,
Bailey Benson

Music
The 8/9 class has been practicing their instruments for the CBC music competition they are apart of. It is exciting to see how it will all come together.
Seasons Diorama
Mrs. Setzer's class completed their diorama explaining how seasons come to be. They did an amazing job creating a visual of their learning.
Athletics
We had our first home game against Grand Trunk this week! Both the boys and the girls had incredibly close sets. Niton showed some excellent skill throughout the game and it is great to see them progress!
