What the Tech?
Conferring and note taking with and without technology
Everyone has their own preferred way to keep notes on their students, whether it be conferring notes in reading/writing workshop, or during any other subject area. I myself have experimented with a variety of pencil, paper, label, and post-it methods as well as keeping my records digitally. There is no wrong way to do it but there are tons of right ways!
This week, we would like to get an idea of the variety of ways we are keeping our notes here at MRS and have a conversation about the features we like and what we feel we need or want to make our notes more effective for both ourselves and our students.
Below are a variety of possibilities, some include technology and some don't. Feel free to experiment and then, next week, we will take a closer look at some of the digital options that you can use with a desktop, laptop, iPad, or with just your phone.
