Attention parents who pickup through the car lines at dismissal! We added a special item to the Fall Fest Silent Auction: Car Rider Fast Passes!! This is your chance to "cut the line" every dismissal from Nov 2 until the end of this school year!

• Sign the National Red Ribbon Campaign Pledge
• Oct 31: K-3rd students are encouraged to dress up as a "storybook character". The book makes for a great prop! / 4th-5th students show us your creativity dressing up as your favorite idiom!

Elementary students will have a school holiday on November 1 while teachers host individual conferences on this day. Teachers will be reaching out to parents to schedule a time to meet. We look forward to partnering with our families to support our Bears!

BBE will celebrate our Veterans on Friday, November 10 at 9:00 am with a ceremony in the cafeteria and a car parade afterwards. Students are welcome to invite a special Veteran to attend! Please see below for more information on how to submit a photo and information about your Veteran.

We will be celebrating Veterans day on Friday, 10 Nov 2023 at Bear Branch Elementary School. You are all invited to this celebration of Veterans past and currently serving.

If you are a veteran interested in attending or have family members that are veterans interested in attending, there will be a spot saved for you on stage to be recognized.

Past and current military members are invited to arrive at 0830-0850 for a continental breakfast provided by the BBE PTA. A short 15-20 min presentation will follow starting at 0900. Then immediately following, military Veterans are invited to participate in a short parade down Tree Lane as the students wave and celebrate you and your families.

Also, families are invited to send a picture of their Veteran to veterans@bbepta.com as well as their name, students name, how they are related, and which service they served under; we will be preparing a slide show to celebrate these Vets.

Please respond by Wednesday, 8 Nov to let us know a Veteran will be attending.

The Bear Branch 2nd Graders will be traveling to the Society of St. Stephen assistance ministry in Kingwood on Tuesday, November 14 for a tour of the food pantry and clothing area, in coordination with the Thanksgiving Food Drive benefitting SOSS Oct 25 - Nov 10. Parents of 2nd grade students, please submit the Permission Form by Monday, Nov 13.

If your child forgets items at home, please deliver to the cubby shelf in the front entry labeled with your child's name, teacher and grade level before 10:00 a.m. Items will be delivered at 10:00 a.m. If you drop off items after 10:00 a.m., please notify the front office and they will call the student to pick up at teacher's discretion.

Copy Room Volunteers are needed to make copies for our teachers.
