Comprehensive Literacy for All
Teaching students with Significant Disabilities to Read
Literacy Improves Lives!
All students can learn to read and write with the right instructional practices and support. This series will look at how to provide high-quality literacy instruction to students with significant disabilities. In this series we will look at ways to support alphabetic knowledge and phonological awareness and how these skills are used to support emergent readers and writers. Next, we will discuss how to support reading comprehension, spelling, and vocabulary skills. Finally, we will look at supporting writing and using assistive technology to support students.
The cost of this training is $10.
Participants will receive 10 hours of ACT 48 credit.
