Welcome New Staff

Paul Huddleston, Dean of Students

I am a graduate from Cascadia Tech, and I’m so excited to be back where I started. Cascadia is such an amazing opportunity for our youth – I know the difference it can make in a student’s life first hand, so I believe in what we do here. In my spare time, I love being outdoors on my mountain bike or in my shop working on whatever needs to be fixed.

Tessie Webberley, Registrar

I have been in the medical field for six years and I recently moved from Providence as a medical coder. I am very excited to work at Cascadia Tech because of the professionalism and the hard working atmosphere the teachers and students give every day. All the teachers are very passionate about what they do here and I really admire that. I have a two-year-old son and a seven-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer.

Peniel Parrao-Tovar, Applied Medical Sciences Director

I am a graduate of Cascadia Tech, a bachelor’s Registered Nurse and am concurrently working in four positions. I am a hospital nurse, member of the Washington Board of Nursing, Director of the Applied Medical Science Program at CTA and have my own social media marketing business with my husband. This is my first year as director and I plan to be hands-on and engaged with the students to inspire them to reach their full potential! I like playing piano, video games, going to music festivals and reading thriller books.

Stacey Henrickson, Cosmetology Instructor

I have been a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years. I spent the last seven years at Phagan’s School of Beauty. I'm so excited to be working with and training our next generation of stylists. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

Jaimi Huddleston, Teaching Academy Instructor

I have been teaching for six years now. I went to Washington State University to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After that, I went to Western Governors University to get my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught 3rd , 2nd, and Kindergarten. I recently left the Elementary Schools to come teach at CTA. I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach our future educators.

Kim O'Neal, Aviation Science & Technology Instructor
I have been a teacher for 19 years and a private pilot for 10 years. I have a huge love and passion for aviation. My goal is to help and encourage as many students as possible to reach their aviation goals. I am a member of the Vice Chair of the Columbia Cascades 99's and a member of Women in Aviation. In my spare time I enjoy flying and I am currently building my dream aircraft.

Hunter Nitschke, Construction Technology Assistant

I graduated two years ago from Construction Technology and took 9th place at SkillsUSA Nationals for Carpentry. I have been doing construction my entire life and have a wealth of knowledge I can't wait to pass onto our great students.

Anna Hoshi, Bilingual Paraeducator

Anna is fluent in Russian and is excited to help our students with a career pathway. She has worked as a bilingual para at Heritage High School since 2006.

Lori Boyd, Fiscal Specialist

Lori has many years of experience within the Evergreen School District. She comes to us from Union High School where she has been their budget secretary since 2016.

BriAnne Hollett, Medical Assisting Instructor & Pro Tech

I have been a Medical Assistant since 2012. I have experience in a variety of medical specialty practices, including pediatrics, meds/peds, dermatology, asthma and allergy, and long term care. I have been a high school dance coach since 2006, and currently the head coach of the Mountain View Lightning Dance Team. My husband, three kids and I love to travel and go on adventures as often as we can.

Jordan Scott, Fire Science Instructor

Jordan is a graduate from Cascadia Tech and now the Training Captain at Clark County Fire District 6. He is excited to train the next generation of Fire Cadets at Cascadia Tech Academy.

Kristi Toman, Cosmetology Instructor

Kristi long-term subbed for us last year and we are excited to have her in a permanent position. She has been an instructor at several beauty schools in Oregon since 2019. She enjoys crafting and camping with her children.

Summer School 2023

Cascadia Tech Academy serves incoming 9th-12th graders for summer school. This year 43 courses were offered and there were 5 satellite campuses to accommodate 583 students.

Summer School courses at Cascadia Tech are not for credit recovery. Think of the courses more like summer camps that give students a taste of the programs we offer during the school year. Many courses take field trips, have guest speakers, spend time on the challenge course and learn curriculum that allows the students to sit for industry certification exams. Students who successfully complete a summer school course earn a 0.5 high school CTE credit.
