AESD Family Letter
June 1, 2023
Dear AESD Families,
As we near the end of another remarkable school year, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation for your unwavering support and dedication to our students, teachers, and staff. It has been a year filled with resilience, growth, and shared accomplishments, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.
Throughout the past academic year, we have witnessed our students demonstrate remarkable strength and adaptability in the face of unprecedented challenges. It is your constant encouragement and active involvement that have played an integral role in their success. Whether you attended parent-teacher conferences, volunteered your time and resources, or were an active member of our many parent committees, your contributions have made a significant difference in shaping a nurturing educational environment.
As we approach the summer break, I encourage you to embrace this time for relaxation, rejuvenation, and cherished moments with your loved ones. Take advantage of the warm weather and create lasting memories together. Engage in outdoor activities, explore new interests, and allow your children to recharge their minds and bodies.
Before we bid farewell to the current school year, I would like to remind you that the last day of school is Wednesday, June 7, 2023. This final day serves as a celebration of our students' achievements and the culmination of their hard work throughout the year. Let us join together in honoring their accomplishments and fostering a sense of pride in their educational journey.

Please mark your calendars for an important date—the first day of the 2023-24 school year is August 10, 2023. Whether your child attends a summer program or not, there are summer learning opportunities available.
