April 7- S9 Walk-a-thon for Lunches of Love program. The cost will be $1 per block ($4 for the day) plus snacks to buy. MOJO from WZYP will provide entertainment.

Congratulations to Camryn Shields, CAFY Rocket City Broadcasting Youth Citizen of the Month!
Sparkman Softball
The Varsity team defeated Southside Gadsden 6-2, Oak Mountain 4-0, Hewitt- Trussville 2-1, and Hale County 1-0 before losing to Marbury 0-4 in the Hillcrest Varsity Tournament this past weekend.
In the Hazel Green JV tournament, the JV Lady Senators soundly defeated Hazel Green 17-0, Hartselle II 6-0, Madison County 18-0, Buckhorn 12-1 and Ardmore 11-0.

Congratulations to the Boys Sparkman Frosh Team,
Lakeshore Tournament CHAMPIONS!!!
Great great job by the boys and Coach Tucker Haverkamp (SHS class of 2016)! These guys not only won the tournament but beat Pelham, Spain Park, Hoover and finally Homewood to take the title. Congrats to sophmore Adam Thomas for winning tournament MVP.
Varsity boys tied Florence last week 0-0. JV boys defeated Florence JV 2-0.
Sparkman Medical Academy- State HOSA Competition
Note from Mrs. Holland: First a shout-out to Ms. Toney for going with me to chaperone 71 adolescents, Mrs. Hodgens for helping with our speech and debate team, Mr. Carter for listening to the speech, and Mr. Mittman for his assistance with the photos. It definitely is a team effort.
Sparkman HOSA was by far the school called to the stage the most often.
We took 71 students to compete. 46 placed in the top six. From there, some competitive events required a second round.
From that point, the following students placed in the top three and are eligible to compete at the International HOSA Leadership Conference and Competitive Events in Orlando, FL this summer:
