PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Pleasant Run Elementary Families:
I would first like to send a big shout out to our Pleasant Run students and staff for completing our first week of our transition to virtual instruction! We know with any change comes challenges, but we are so appreciative of our students for working through them and of our parents for being so supportive! Thank you for making this a great week!

Parents, it’s important for you to know how to get support if needed. If you have any academic needs, you can access the following supports:
Contact your child's teacher(s) for support. Teacher contact information is available on our school’s website under the Explore Tab, then select STAFF.
Contact Ms. Gilbert, school counselor, Mrs. Smith, assistant principal or Mr. K , principal @ 317-532-3800.

I would also like to share a few important points to remember:
Student's will access zoom links and student work through their Canvas App on their iPad.
It is important for students to participate in class via zoom each day and to complete assigned work from their teacher. Please refer to your child's daily schedule to help support their attendance in classes.
If you need support with your device because it is not working or has been damaged, you can visit the helpdesk at Moorhead Community Resource Center at 8400 E. 10th Street in the back of the building from 10:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
To request a T-Mobile hotspot for your student please completely fill out this form. Once your request is processed the hotspot will be delivered to your student's home school where you may pick it up.

PTA NEWS
Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.
The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.
Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
