A Message From Mrs. Burko
It's here! The beginning of a new and unique school year. Our teachers have been hard at work finding ways to connect with students virtually, creating digital lessons to engage students and cultivating resource to allow student voice. They are ready to welcome your students into their virtual classrooms!
As we work together to get students prepared for learning, we will be working with them to ensure they've joined their Google Classrooms, set calendar reminders and learn how to learn online. We could use your help getting students into a routine, too. Teachers will be taking attendance and you will be getting attendance calls. Let's work together to be sure students are attending daily.
The school year will require us to work together in ways we haven't had to before. Please reach out with any questions, concerns or feedback.
Our hope is for another successful year here at CMS.
Best,
Mrs. BUrko

Fall Athletics
A message from our Athletic Director
We are going to have Virtual Athletic Teams this fall. Students will receive workouts, leadership/character training, team competitions and possible competitions against other schools.
We are planning to start 9/14. Please make sure your child is registered on 8to18 Link - https://nc.8to18.com/Culbreth. Your child will need to have a current physical, be registered, and be academically eligible.
Anyone who had a physical PRIOR to 3/1/19 will have to get a new physical. Anyone who had a physical AFTER 3/1/19 - 5/1/20 that physical is good until the end of the 2020/21 academic school year. On or after 5/2/20 will participate based on the current policy of being valid for 395 days.
