Lubbock-Cooper ISD is committed to doing everything we can to keep your student safe, during arrival and dismissal. After safety comes efficiency. We dismiss approximately 800 students each day and feel we can get each student where they need to be in a timely manner. We appreciate your help and support as parents during the morning and afternoon every school day.
A few important points to remember:
- In the drive-up lane, please do not get out of your vehicle to drop off or pick up your student. If you need to get out of your vehicle, please park in one of the parking lots so you can get out of your car.
- Speed limit is 10 m.p.h. around the school and drive-throughs
- Please do not double park while waiting for your student
Thank you so much for a safe, efficient process!

Lubbock Avalanche-Journal: Teacher Of the Month
Each month, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and Ron Haley & Associates will recognize one teacher as the Amazing Teacher of the Month and they will be featured in print and on our publication’s website.
The Teacher of the Month will be eligible to win a national $5,000 monthly prize for themselves and $5,000 for their school!
Whether you’re a student who’s learned from a great teacher or a colleague, here’s your chance to recognize an exemplary local teacher.
Nominate an educator to be recognized as the Amazing Teacher of the Month
and show them just how grateful you are for the work they put in.
