This December we are recognizing our amazing 3rd and 4th grade teachers. Both teams contribute greatly to our North students. They are all extraordinarily patient, and through their example and gentle guidance, their students are given daily examples of the power of kindness and hard work. We are so grateful for the positive impact they have on every student.

Classroom Christmas parties are scheduled for December 16. More information about Christmas parties will be communicated by your child's teacher in the coming days. Every parent/guardian attending their child's party will need to stop by the front office and grab a visitor badge before entering the classrooms.

“J’Lise deserves Pirate of the Month because she models great behavior and a positive attitude about learning each and every day. She is kind and respectful to her classmates and helps others often (especially her teacher!)."

“Myli is a hard worker and always goes above and beyond. She patiently takes the time to help her classmates and is the true definition of a leader.”

“Lia works hard every day and goes out of her way to help others. She is also extra respectful to every teacher in 5th grade, not just her own teachers!

Lubbock-Cooper ISD is committed to doing everything we can to keep your student safe, during arrival and dismissal. After safety comes efficiency. We dismiss approximately 800 students each day and feel we can get each student where they need to be in a timely manner. We appreciate your help and support as parents during the morning and afternoon every school day.

A few important points to remember:

• In the drive-up lane, please do not get out of your vehicle to drop off or pick up your student. If you need to get out of your vehicle, please park in one of the parking lots so you can get out of your car.
• Speed limit is 10 m.p.h. around the school and drive-throughs
• Please do not double park while waiting for your student

Community News Services

Each month, students participate in a day filled with engaging, quick review/pre-teach of concepts that data shows to be difficult for students to master. The day will allow students to rotate through many teachers so they are hearing and learning from other educators. Contents covered: math, reading, writing, science.
