This past weekend, the Greece Olympia Indoor Track and Field athletes competed in the Trent Jackson/Cedric Walker Invitational and the Jim Cleveland Sub Varsity Championship Meet. Once again, there were some amazing performances! This week, the Spartans will be heading to SUNY Brockport to compete in the Monroe County Championship Meet.

On Thursday, February 14th the Olympia JV/Varsity Boys Basketball teams will face the Odyssey JV/Varsity Boys Basketball teams at Olympia!

• The JV game begins at 5:30pm
• The Varsity game will begin at 7:15pm

As if that isn't exciting enough, former track athlete Josh McCleary will be presented with a State Championship banner at the conclusion of the JV game!

After the presentation, we will be providing an opportunity for anyone interested in running Outdoor Track to begin the recertification process and ask the coaches any questions.

Jayda Singleton is now ranked #1 in New York State in the Long Jump and #8 in the nation with a leap of 18' 11.25"!

The Boys 4x400 Relay team of Zach Wright, Corey Bright, Matt Heh and Gidyon Chane placed 3rd overall at the TJ/CW Invitational! Check out the livestream snapshot of Gidyon's amazing come from behind victory in their heat as he anchored the Spartan relay.

Believe it or not, the Outdoor Track and Field season will soon be here. In order to compete, all athletes (including anyone who competed in a fall or winter sport) MUST get recertified and have an up to date physical.
