FUND RUN NEWS – 3..2..1..RUN!

We are a week away from this year’s Bubble FUNd Run! We have an exciting event planned for kids with t-shirts for all (thank you sponsors), running, live entertainment, and otter pops. So far, we have raised just under $14,000! Help us get to the next school-wide incentive, Pajama Day, at $15,000. Make your donation by Friday, September 23.

POPSICLES IN THE PARK

Join us TODAY for popsicles, fun, community, and the chance to learn more about the PTC.

When: Friday, 9/16

Time: 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Where: Corral Alva Park

Cost: FREE

BONUS: Kids can vote on the movie for our Oct. 7 Movie Night.

MOVIE NIGHT

Our first Movie Night is Friday, 10/7. We’ll announce what’s showing next week.

Time: Sunset (arrive up to 1 hour early to get food and a seat)

Where: Sierra’s big kid playground

Cost: FREE

Food: dinner items and movie snacks for sale

CALLING ALL TALENT!

We are looking for musicians amongst our Sierra community to play before our movie nights. For the 10/7 Movie Night, we are honoring Hispanic Heritage Month, so we would be so excited to find someone who can play a style of music that would honor this special month. To ensure compliance with RUSD and the state of California's volunteer policies, parents who wish to volunteer on campus during the school day must have:

RUSD Policy:

• Fingerprinting completed for RUSD specifically. Prior fingerprinting done for any agency or organization other than RUSD will not be accepted. Fingerprinting takes approximately 72 hours to clear.
• Current Tuberculosis Test (TB). TB tests expire every 4 years and must be renewed in order to volunteer. TB Tests take approximately 48-72 hours for results and results must be brought to the office.
