The Thurmont Middle School community will provide a supportive environment where all students will succeed in learning the academic, physical and social skills needed to become productive and responsible members of society.

General Reminder

• Click HERE to access the Google Slides from today's Professional Development. The presentation includes dates, links, and resources for your SLO. As a general reminder, all SLOs should be submitted to your assigned administrator by Friday, December 6th.

• We are having issues with some of our exterior doors closing and latching. I am asking for your assistance in double checking any exterior door that you pass by in the hallways. If you find a door that is not latching correctly, please contact the front office ASAP.

• On Thursday, December 5th we will be recognizing and celebrating our First Term Honor Roll students. We will run a regular schedule on this day with award ceremonies at the following times: 6th Grade - 8:30 - 9:00 7th Grade - 9:45 - 10:15 8th Grade - 12:55 - 1:25. I will send out a list of students who will be receiving awards. Only these students should be sent to the gym when the announcement is made. Only students receiving awards are invited to attend the celebration. Students will be returning to their classes after the ceremony.
