The NJHS did a fundraiser last week to raise money for the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. This hospital is for children and adults who have experienced a brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, or other injury or illness requiring physical rehabilitation.

Our students love to get their teachers involved .... and our teachers are always happy to oblige - especially when it's for a great cause!!!

Two of our very own Huskies have been to Mary Free Bed recently after having different tragic accidents. The HMS students brought in $1.00 each day they wanted to participate for the week and raised over $400.00. This money will be donated to the hospital in honor of Jason Trumble and Paige Baird.

Teens 6th-12th grade, join us at the library for a Retro Game Night! We will have 80's Jeopardy, retro video games like Super Mario Bros. and Pac-Man, classic board games, and a costume photo booth! Snacks will be provided.

Drop in with friends and family anytime between 3:30pm and 7pm to play a life-size version of Candyland at the library! Collect different kinds of candy as you explore the Candy Cane Forest, climb the Gumdrop Mountains and journey to many other sweet places as you play the game!

LOOKING FOR A WAY TO HELP??

We are still in need of some volunteers to help with the Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner on November 15th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. This is a great way for 7th & 8th graders to help and mingle with older generations and our veterans. We all know how much they love to see students doing great things, so why not help out for a couple hours and bring a SMILE to the face of someone who may need it. Who knows....it could even be your own grandparents!!

We have a sign-up sheet in the office for anyone who is interested. Deadline will be this Friday, November 8th.
