Monday Morning Memo

The third quarter ends this Friday March 24th. Report cards will be released next Wednesday and students that made Honor Roll will be honored at a ceremony next Friday March 31st after the 10 AM Mass. We are blessed to have Cardinal Gregory join us to celebrate the Mass. Families are welcome!

Victoria represented St. Mary of the Assumption at the PG County spelling bee last Friday night. We are so proud of her! This is the first year that SMA has participated in the National Spelling Bee in over 10 years and we couldn't have had better representation.

The middle school students participated in a Pi Day contest for the Bowie Baysox Pi Day celebration. Jaydon successfully recited the first 181 digits of pi, the most of any other SMA student. All who participated won a free ticket to the Baysox Game.

We are looking for businesses to help underwrite the cost of our school folders, handbooks, and calendar magnets. If you would like to participate in the ad program, please fill out the attached form, or call our printer directly. Our children receive these items FREE from the advertisements. If we are unable to utilize you as a sponsor at this time, we will contact you with the next available advertising space. Thank you!

Let's pack the stands!

The Bowie Bay Sox are offering a reading incentive program. Students who read 4 books and complete a AR quizzes between 1/3/2023 - 3/36/2023 will receive 2 tickets to the Friday, April 28th game! Kindergarten students will read in library class with Mrs. Pla.
