4.G. 3 Recognize a line of symmetry for a two-dimensional figure as a line across the figure such that the figure can be folded along the line into matching parts. Identify line-symmetric figures and draw lines of symmetry.

I can recognize and draw lines of symmetry.
What will we learn? Symmetry is when one shape becomes exactly like another if you flip, slide or turn it. The simplest type of Symmetry is "Reflection" (or "Mirror") Symmetry. There is also Rotational Symmetry and Point Symmetry.

I can use reading strategies to comprehend a text.
What will we learn? Students will continue working on testing strategies for reading comprehension. We will be using these strategies to pace ourselves through reading texts for the remainder of the year. Our reading benchmark test is Tuesday of this week.
