Thank you for coming to talk to the teachers last week about your child! Communicating about your child's education is important to us! We hope you are enjoying your Fall Break. Ms. Sutherland has mummified some of our books. Judge a book by the first few opening lines and not the cover! 7th grade will be in the library Tuesday. 6th will go Wednesday and 8th will go Friday (unless there is a HS pep rally).

There are many social media challenges out there that encourage students to perform dangerous or destructive acts. We want to focus on social media challenges that encourage positivity among students. Through the month of October, GMS challenges everyone to offer encouragement through small acts of kindness to staff, students, and community members (cards, candy, kind words, etc.).

Our last volleyball games were Monday against Ore City. 7th grade A team are district champs! Congratulations to them and all the other Lady Bears for playing so hard!

Alright, we have one last game for this season against Sabine at home this Thursday. Come out and support our players, cheerleaders, majorettes, band, and flags. Make sure to purchase your ticket online before coming to the gate.

Also, we'll have a pep rally on Thursday beginning at 2:50.
