Our first all school field trip was a HUGE success! Thank you to our wonderful PTO for the idea and for treating us all to a fun day at the ballpark with the Milwaukee Milkmen. Our students displayed respectful behaviors and as a result we were able to make memories for a lifetime!

Mrs. Patchel’s 2nd Grade class is passionate about endangered animals and are raising money for The World Wildlife Federation. On Monday, June 5th, they will be selling popsicles on the playground for $1.00 during all lunch recesses. Every grade will have the opportunity to help support endangered animals like gray wolves, sea turtles, red pandas, sharks, and African elephants. Please bring $1.00 on June 5 to purchase a popsicle. Thank you in advance for your support of Mrs. Patchel’s second graders and endangered animals.

We are looking for families to help out over the summer with harvesting vegetables and taking them to the Muskego Food Pantry.

There were forty-five (45) 2nd grade students who completed the 5 Mile Crew Challenge!

As a grade level, 2nd grade ran a total of 1,381 laps which is 345.25 miles!

There were fifty-one (51) 3rd grade students who completed the 5 Mile Crew Challenge!

As a grade level, 3rd grade ran a total of 1,464 laps which is 366 miles!

We are very proud of all of their efforts!

We have an exciting announcement about the summer library program for K-8 students in Muskego Norway Schools. Students are able to check out 10-15 books that they can read over the summer and return in the fall.

If you would like your child to be able to check out 10-15 books from the library, please fill out THIS FORM.

The definition of excessive absences is more than 10 days in a school year. As of May 2023, 80% of our students have had less than 10 absences this school year. Thank you for getting your children to school.

I just wanted to take a moment to say “see you around” vs. a goodbye. It has truly been an honor serving on the Mill Valley PTO Board for the past few years as the Vice President. I was lucky enough to work with such wonderful people to create fun community driven events. My main focus while being on the board was to create a close-knit community for our children to grow up in and I know we succeeded at several events these past few years. My friendly advice is to stop by a PTO meeting, volunteer for an event, and take the time to get to know other MV families. All of these steps help us create a wonderful community we can call home. Thank you for your generous donations to help us create an awesome learning environment for our MV students and staff. I’m officially passing on the Vice President PTO Board torch to Erica Bryce.

Mill Valley PTO sponsored an all school field trip to the Milwaukee Milkmen baseball game on May 17th. Mill Valley staff and students got to enjoy a day at the ballpark. Thank you to all of our staff, chaperones, Dairyland bus drivers, Taher Food Service, and most importantly, the Milwaukee Milkmen organization. The Mill Valley Student Council has decided to give back to the community and will be collecting donations for HAWS animal shelter. We will be collecting items off the wish list (attached HERE) May 1- May 24th. In addition, you may also purchase from HAWS Amazon Wish List and have it shipped directly to HAWS. Please consider donating to support animals that need our help.

Thank you to all families who registered their children for Summer Learning Academy. At this time, the Infinite Campus registration is closed, with the exceptions of All-Sport Academy and Muskego Power (2:00-3:00 session). Parents can still register for All-Sport Academy and Muskego Power through the Infinite Campus Portal.
