Our SRO, Deputy Ward, would like to acknowledge the class that completes the largest percentage of math practice assessments correctly on the IXL Math program during Spring Break! First place will receive a pizza party and a movie! Second place will receive an ice cream celebration! So, log-in and do a little math over Spring Break! It will help you to not forget what you are currently learning AND your math class could get a pizza or ice cream party from Deputy Ward!

Anyone that enrolled for DCMS Cheer for the 2020-2021 school year, please attend the parent meeting on March 24th from 6-7pm in the DCMS Cafeteria. There will be a lot of information about the recent program changes as well as about the upcoming competitive team tryouts. The deadline to meet all service hour requirements for NJHS this year is Friday, April 17, in order to prepare lists for awards. Members have been reminded of the deadline throughout this school year. We sold out of most colors and sizes so our DCMS PTO placed another order, and we will keep taking orders until our stock runs out. We won't be reordering again this school year, so first come, first served! Orders can be dropped off in the DCMS office. Order form below:

Time is running out to buy your DCMS Yearbook! Sales will close toward the end of March so make sure you order fast! There are approximately 135 yearbooks left to preorder. We cannot guarantee that there will be extra yearbooks to sell after distribution in May. Go to www.jostensyearbooks.com to order. Make sure you order for Deer Creek MIDDLE School. Deer Creek Schools requests your financial support to expand our current transition program by building a model transition center known as the Deer Creek Transition Center (DCTC) for our students with special needs. By partnering with us on this mission, you will help improve the lives of special needs students in Deer Creek by transforming their learning opportunities in public education, decreasing their dependence on federal benefits, increasing graduation retention rates, as well as the employment rates. It will also serve as a catalyst training ground for districts throughout the state to follow, impacting special needs students throughout the state as well as those who teach and volunteer. In true Oklahoma style we want to work together to create this dynamic and real world learning environment for our students.
