Spirit Week

We don't have Homecoming, but we do have Spirit Week. K12 schools across the nation are participating in Spirit Week this week. We'd love for you to participate.

You can share your pictures or videos of doing these activities while you school with me via email. You can also post them to our Facebook page with the hashtag #aldcaspiritweek.

If you do email them, please let me know if you do or don't give permission to put them in next week's newsletter.

Here is the list of the activities we are doing each day:

Day 1- PJ day

Day 2- Wacky Hair Day

Day 3- Wear your Red-White- and Blue

Day 4- 80’s day

Day 5- Favorite Team

MAP Testing

All newly enrolled students are required to do MAP testing. Please see the information about MAP testing on the 8.27 newsletter above. There are steps that need to be taken before your testing time, which will be sent in an email.

If your student was scheduled to take the MAP test this past week and did not, he/she will have to make it up this week. Look for an email with testing times.

Join us September 21st in Prattville for an Ice Cream Social

We're meeting at the Cotton Gin Creamery at 167 Main Street in Prattville at 4:30-5:30. If you're in the area, we'd love to meet with you. Bring your computers if you need support or have questions about the platform. Come join us!

Opportunities for 8th Graders

8th Graders, join Mrs. Stringer on Friday, September 19th at 8:00 at the Mobile Civic Center. (See info below.) She'll be there with an ALDCA sign, ready to greet you!
