Mountain View Weekly Update

- Attention 8th grade parents: Please note that the 8th grade picnic, originally scheduled for Monday, June 7, will be held on Wednesday, June 2 (raindate June 3). More details, including a permission form, to follow.

-Reminder for 5th grade parents: To accommodate Move Up Day, where 4th graders visit Mountain View, tour the building, and meet with the 5th grade team, Wednesday, May 26 will be a 1:00 p.m. dismissal for all 5th graders. There will be no "at home extension." Administration appreciates your support and understanding.

- If your child (grades 5-7) did not complete the 21-22 Related Arts course request process via the Parent Portal, please contact Mrs. Toth (toth@mendhamboroschools.org). Students who do not submit requests will have a hold placed on their 4th marking period report card.

- Are you interested in getting more involved with the HSA? Would you like to be the first to know about volunteer opportunities (big and small)? Or do you just need a morning or evening out? Attention 5th, 6th, and 7th grade parents: Please reach out to your child’s pediatrician to schedule physicals for sports paperwork for the fall season as we await further guidance regarding scholastic sports for next school year. Students in grades 5/6/7 have signed up for tryouts for their chosen sport. You may access and print all paperwork and find information regarding requirements on my Student Athlete Information page. This week, Mendham Borough Schools hosted a special virtual assembly with musician and motivational speaker Jared Campbell.
