Dear RTMS Families,
As you can imagine, none of us expected to start April this way. By now I'm hoping that everybody has been made aware of the passing of Coach George Keehn, who was an integral member of our P.E. department for sixteen years. We were so lucky to have had him be a part of our RTMS family; he was one of a kind. The outpouring of support and love that we have seen in emails, phone calls, and on social media has been truly heartwarming, and we will share these messages with his family. As noted in our message to families on Thursday, we will have social workers available for anyone who needs support on Monday, and throughout the week. If you feel your student needs additional support, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Krall-Meske, Mr. Henkel, or any trusted staff member at RTMS.
It's hard to believe that we only have two months left in this school year (a little less for our 8th graders). We have seen so much growth since the start of the school year, and we are proud of everything that has been accomplished so far. Please encourage your child to remain focused (especially as the weather becomes nicer), and to continue working to do their very best. Our teachers are working diligently to get them ready for that next level; we can do this best when we work together.
In partnership,
Mary Krall-Meske
Principal

Worked Scheduled to Begin Spring 2023
The Cook County Department of Transportation & Highways will rehabilitate the intersection of Euclid Avenue & Wolf Road in 2023.
The Cook County Department of Transportation & Highways will rehabilitate the intersection of Euclid Avenue & Wolf Road in 2023. Work will include removing and replacing the concrete pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalk ramps, pavement markings, and traffic signal detector loops. The contractor is Arrow Road Construction of Elk Grove Village.
Motorists can expect delays during construction. The project will be completed in multiple stages that include various lane closures along both roadways. During one stage, the intersection will be closed with traffic required to follow a posted detour. The electronic message boards at the intersection will provide closure dates prior to this occurring.
Information and updates regarding the project can be found by visiting Euclid Avenue & Wolf Road Intersection Improvements.
