With the upcoming conclusion of Science Fair, we will be kicking off our second semester Research strand focus on Human Anatomy on Monday!

In class we will:

• Learn a new system each week (starting with the Respiratory System on W19, Monday), using the common topics and Guide Appendix diagrams.
• Draw the new system/structure (Anatomy Journal will be printed and provided)
• Blank page assessments of learned systems (2 weeks per system, schedule for study and assessments included in the Anatomy Journal)
• Share and discuss definitions/system connections

At home, students will:

• Research terms and record anatomy term definitions (See Guide p. 134, also included in the Anatomy Journal)
• Daily: Draw and label the current body systems/structures

• Try Khan Academy Human Anatomy and Physiology (free) videos/course (series of 10 minute videos for each system)!
