Cookie Dough Fundraiser

Hello Williamston Primary Tiger Pack!!!

It is that time of year for us to being our annual school "Cookie Dough Fundraiser". On September 22 students will receive their fundraiser packets with all the information needed for them to start on the 9/22/21. All orders and money will be due on October 5,2021

Grade Level Announcements

Pre-K:

  • All Pre kindergarten students must have a current physical and immunization record by September 22 or your child will not be allowed to attend school until it is completed.


Kindergarten:

  • All kindergarten students must have a current physical and immunization record by September 22 or your child will be not be allowed to attend school until it is complete.


First Grade:

  • Continue to practice sight words each night.
  • Practice oral counting to 100.
  • Practice reading and writing numbers to 20 without turning any backward.
  • Point out when an object around the house is being pushed or pulled and the direction it moves.
  • Listen to your child read the four books the teacher sends home. Choose one in which to fill out the story map included. Please return all of this in the bag on Friday.


Second Grade:

  • Please be looking for AR books that will be sent home for students to read.
  • Students need to read the book at least two times before taking an AR test at school.


Resource:


Music: Students are playing instruments at school and reading rhythms. Each student receives an email from Music Google Classroom on Monday’s with many of the songs and activities they enjoy! Then, students can practice at home and share with friends and family. Students in Mrs. Toler’s, Mrs. Britt’s and Ms. Jodie Roberson’s classes will demonstrate their music skills at Tuesday night’s PTA program.


Library: This week we read a true story about a man named Philippe Petit. Ask your student about the amazing performance he gave in New York in 1974!


Exceptional Children: Our students have been learning about life on a farm, Harry Hatman in Letterland, and the number three. Next week we will learn lots of facts about apples, Munching MIke in Letterland, and the number four. The students are working on counting sets of objects up to ten and writing numbers. They are also working really hard on writing their names and letters. We will review all colors and position words.


Student Services:

  • Teachers are working hard to complete the MClass Assessment, i-Ready Diagnostic, and Kindergarten ELI (Early Learning Inventory). Please make sure your child is present at school if they are well.


  • Please consider sending an extra set of clothes to school with your child. While we have some extra uniforms, our supply is limited and is reserved for emergency situations.



Transportation Changes

Parents please be reminded that if you need to change afternoon transportation for your child you will need to send a written note to school with your child dated and signed with the requested change whether it is permanent, temporary or just for one day. Phone calls for transportation changes will not be accepted.

PBIS Fundraiser

Parents and Students please support the Williamston Primary PBIS program on September 28,2021 for our Mama’s Pizza Night Fundraiser Night.
