Welcome back to a new and exciting school year! We hope you have had a wonderful summer and that you are as excited to return to school. We are looking forward to a fabulous year filled with a lot of activities planned for your child.

The first day of school for all students will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. The first three days of school (September 7th - September 9th) will be one-session days. See schedule details below.

Clarendon School Schedule

• Full Session: 8:20 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• One-Session: 8:20 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Delayed Opening: 10:20 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Information regarding your child's teacher, classroom, and drop-off/pick-up guidelines has been sent out via email.

Please join us as we open our doors for the annual Back-To-School Night Events hosted at Clarendon School.

Parents/Guardians of kindergarten students will have the opportunity to meet their child's teacher at 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 6th.

Parents/Guardians of students in grades 1 through 5 can attend Back-to-School Night on Monday, September 19th at 6:00 P.M.

Back-to-School Night provides you with an opportunity to meet your child's teacher and to see our school. Please remember that Back-to-School Night is a Parent/Guardian only event.

The federal government's universal free lunch program expired this summer and our schools will return to offering free and reduced school lunch to only students who qualify based on family income. Families are encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch application if they believe they qualify.

As in previous years, if you would like to purchase lunch, please replenish your child's lunch account by logging into the Payforit.net (https://www.payforit.net/Login.aspx) website.

Clarendon School and Huber Street School will be serving a more traditional and expanded lunch menu. Please be reminded that students will need to input their Student ID number when purchasing items from the cafeteria (as no cash will be accepted.)

The Secaucus Board of Education requires to wear school uniforms on a daily basis, including field trips. Students are to arrive at school wearing the appropriate clothing as defined in the dress code. The following is a list of clothing items in compliance with the uniform policy.
