Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We are delighted to share with parents and carers alike student triumphs at Corby Technical School. We are proud of every student and every success they have - please feel free to share with us any achievements they might have.

Top Lesson Stars:

Students receive lesson stars where a teacher feels a student has made an excellent contribution in their lesson. Some students receive multiple lesson stars across the week, below are the students who have received the most stars for each year group this week:

Year 7:

Year 8:

Christmas Celebrations at Corby Technical School:

We enjoyed our last day of term yesterday, students and staff enjoyed a fabulous Christmas lunch prepared by the catering team. Students and staff were then able to watch a mini Winter Showcase in their tutor groups. It was a fabulous day and a great way to end the term.

Christmas came early this week as our Year 7 students each received a new book to enjoy over the Christmas period. It was wonderful to see them unwrapping their gifts and either talking about the books or diving straight in and starting to read. Merry Christmas.

The very first CTS Library Christmas Book Fair took place this week with a festive bang! Our Library Helpers have been busy creating handcrafted gifts to sell at the event, including Christmas cards, baubles and keyrings, and worked together to identify books that could be sold at the event. It was a spectacular success -and in total, we have raised £187.55 for future library clubs. Miss Cunningham would like to thank the Library helpers who contributed towards this fantastic event and thank them for their time, dedication and enthusiasm throughout.
