WOW!! It is GREAT to be a Dragon. These past few weeks have been so rewarding for all of our student athletes and their coaches. Boys Cross Country running in the State meet, the 1972 State Championship Football Team recognition, and being able to celebrate our seniors on Senior Night. Our Cheer Squad had a great performance at Game Day State. All four of our Junior High Basketball teams had great showings in the Canadian Valley Conference Basketball Tournament. The 8th grade boys, and the 7th grade girls both won the championship. The 7th grade boys came in 2nd, and the 8th grade girls finished 4th. As if that wasn't enough, our Academic Team had a huge win over Tuttle to WIN their regional! Congratulations to all of our students and coaches.

• Boys and Girls High School Basketball are still in scrimmage season.
  
• Junior High Basketball had their first tournament. They open up regular season this week.

• 11/30 - Powerlifting Parent Meeting- 5pm in HS Commons.

Our Boys Cross Country team made it to the state meet. The team was lead by Sophomore Erick Suarez. The team also received the Academic State Championship while attending the State Meet. Congratulations to Jake Deviney, Ray Samford, Allie Lance, and all the Cross Country team members on a great year.

Dick Gray came out and spoke to our FCA. He gave his 18 sports rules for life. It was very inspiring listening to Coach Gray speak.

Our Purcell Cheer Squad qualified for Game Day Cheer State. They performed very well at state. Our cheer squad and their coaches worked so hard this year. We had a Hall Walk for the cheer team to wish them luck as they went to state. At the end of the walk, several football players were waiting to give all the cheerleaders a flower, and wish them luck.

Come out to the Reimer Center on November 17th from 6-8 pm. Meet the basketball teams and have a chance to see them in action.
