Scholars will continue to develop the good habits of being a learner! One of those habits is getting a good night's sleep!

Be sure to come to all classes well rested, awake & ready to learn!

Also continue to have scholars interact with their peers...in a safe way!

Scholars are to write their play plans every day!

Be sure scholars get lots of practice writing their letters, especially in their names and words!

We will be learning about Eskimos or Inuit people and their lives!

We are still working on developing our knowledge of ourselves!

In March we are celebrating Women’s History Month. We'll be learning about a lot of famous women and their accomplishments.

We are learning to identify rhyming words. We are also learning about letters and the sounds they make.

We will be having an author study- learning about different authors and the books they wrote!

On Read Across America Day, March 2nd we will celebrate reading by encouraging parents to read stories to the children

We will be reading books from Dr. Seuss

We will continue to learn about patterns by creating a red and white-create Dr. Seuss Hat.

Keep practicing counting and one to one correspondence.

We will create a Venger Drawing- which is a picture using shapes.

We are also learning about the shapes Octagon, Hexagon and Pentagon.

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day we will be mixing blue and yellow paint to create green! We will also be reading the Little Blue and Little Yellow Story.

We'll be studying the concept of sink and float.

We will continue to learn about caring for pets and more about veterinarians and what they do!
