Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. will discuss the state of our local economy and present the findings from the 2018 Grays Harbor Economic Vitality Index – a report showing trend data and highlights of key economic sectors and activity within Grays Harbor County.

As one of GGHI's signature events, the State of Grays Harbor is an important opportunity for community members to receive an in depth view of the economics of the county.

Keynote Speaker

Loren Lyon - President and Center Director of Impact Washington

Mr. Lyon has a strong background in manufacturing in Washington State. He “grew up” in high tech manufacturing with companies such as Eldec Corporation, Data I/O, Applied MicroSystems, and SelfCHARGE. Previously, he was CEO at three technology companies and has been certified by APICS, ISM and ASQ. Loren graduated from SUNY at Albany with a degree in Operations Management.

Loren is a recipient of the prestigious Ernst and Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” Award for Manufacturing and has led companies that have been consistently in the Washington Technology “Fast 50” (rapid growth) in Washington State.

He is President of the Eastside Chapter of the Keiretsu Forum, an Angel Investor group and is passionate about start up and early stage businesses.

Impact Washington is the NIST MEP for Washington State. They are a non profit manufacturing consulting organization that covers the entire state.
