Buckets of Kindness project

Last year, Belinder Elementary, along with several other SMSD elementary schools, assisted the Crestview school community with their Buckets of Kindness project designed to help KC's homeless. This year, we are assisting again. Our goal is to assemble 150 buckets. We can do it! Here is what we need:

Kit A Items

24 Count of Individual Wet Wipes
Individual Pack of Kleenex
60 Count Band Aids
Deodorant Stick
Small Bottles Hand Sanitizer
Small Bottle of Shampoo
6 Count Pack of Hand Warmers

We will be collecting items until the end of the upcoming celebration of Kindness Week January 27-31. Buckets can be purchased inexpensively from Home Depot or Lowe's. Thank you in advance for your support of this SMSD community effort!

Calling All Artists!

The Variety Show is in need of art work for the program. Keep in mind that the theme of the show is Decades of Rock and the program is printed in black and white. There is no need to be in the show to turn in art work. Please submit your artwork to the front office by January 25th.

For those of you in the show, please take note of these dates. On stage rehearsals are January 27th, 28th and dress rehearsal is on January 29th. The show is on January 31. An email with specific assigned rehearsal times and additional details will be sent out to group leaders next week.

Leader in Me

We will have our onsite coaching visit this Tuesday. We're looking forward to making plans for the second semester.
