Mrs. Kerth and I were able to begin the week with another session from our professional development series through Notre Dame University, CASTLE (CAtholic School Teacher LEadership). In our sessions together we are able to collaborate with professors, including Sr. Kathleen Carr, former Superintendent of the Boston Archdiocese, and pastors from Notre Dame that led us in discussions about using our faith to guide us in the best instructional practices. This is an invigorating experience that leaves us excited about the programs we have put in place at Holy Cross. We have been chosen as the model school locally and Mrs. Kerth was chosen as the local lead for the Math Teacher Leadership group. We are so grateful for this opportunity and how it will advance our math program in the future.
Thank you to everyone that donated to our Food Drive. We are very blessed that we are able to help so many families in need. Thank you to Mrs. Sells for organizing this for our school community and for helping us fulfill one of the Corporal Works of Mercy this holiday season. We are so very grateful for our students, teachers, nurses, staff, parents, pastors, and the entire Holy Cross community.
We are excited to celebrate Grandparent's and Special Person Day this weekend, Sunday, November 22nd at the 7:00 am, 8:30 am, 10:30 am, and 12:00 pm (Spanish) Masses. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving to our Holy Cross family!
